THINKING OF MOVING?


Start By Getting A Lender’s Pre-Approval

This helps you to know how much house you can afford.   I recommend you shop for the BEST RATES and the BEST SERVICE — and if you reach out to me, I’ll refer you to a couple of lenders reps so you can do some comparisons.  These are people I’ve worked with and found to be outstanding at what they do!


Work With An Experienced Realtor Who’s On YOUR Side

I think personal referrals are important … they let you know what others have experienced.  So, when we meet, I’ll give you a copy of my “References Booklet.”

I want you to know that, if you choose me, I’ll be on your side,  negotiating a “win-win” deal so you get exactly what you want.

    • We’ll talk about what you need, and what you want.  We’ll discuss what you think you can afford.
    • I’ll email listings to you that seem to meet your needs/wants, and make appointments for you to see the homes that look appealing to you.
    • I’ll provide you with information about the schools, the neighborhood, transportation options … and I’ll be able to comment on the cost of upgrades you might want, and give you references for contractors.
    • I’ll also recommend attorneys, home inspectors, and lenders.

Ultimately, once you’ve selected the home you want, I’ll prepare the offer — but only after I’ve “run the numbers” to be sure you’re not overpaying.  Then I’ll use all my skill and experience to negotiate the best price and terms.


Once Your Offer Is Accepted

I’ll arrange for Inspections and be there with you when the inspections are completed.  If there are inspection issues, I’ll discuss them with you and work with your attorney to get them resolved.

I’ll work with your lender to arrange for the appraisal, and I’ll provide you with a “Next Steps” sheet so you’ll know ahead of time what items are coming up and what you may need to do to complete the sale.


Closing

By the time we’ve reached this point, I’ll have made sure that everything that needs to be done is done.
